Merry and Bright

 So I lied… I have a few more from Christmas Eve… these were taken after church over at my parent’s house. Daddy made his delicious filet and we had some more fun with the elf.

 

Sock monkeys were the theme of this year’s pajamas so in honor of that, my mom made these sock monkey cupcakes :)

How funny is Chad in this picture? He was trying to sneak the elf out of the tree while Cole wasn’t looking so he and my dad could move him to his next hiding place. They moved him every 5 minutes and Cole was just mesmerized! It was so much fun!

My mother … who cries over most gifts but especially really thoughtful ones. Daddy got her a kindle fire!

 

Chad’s favorite country singer is Jason Aldean and has never seen him in concert,  so I was super sneaky and got him tickets to the show in Fayetteville next month… he was SO surprised and excited!  I cried of course because I cry at everything right now but also because MY favorite singer, Luke Bryan, is on tour with him!! We can’t wait to get away for the night and have a date night! Here he is opening the tickets!

    

We thoroughly enjoyed the light sabers from Gamma and Pappy!  

 

It was a BEAUTIFUL Christmas full of new and old traditions and lots of laughs… The best we have ever,ever had. We are so thankful to Chad’s parents and sister for their thoughtful gifts and wish that they could have been there to see Cole enjoy his first “real” Christmas. We missed you guys so very much!  Today I was pretty sad that the rush of the holiday was over but I was also excited because it just means we are that much closer to May when we will meet our next little family member. I know that the best Christmases are still yet to come for us! Merry Christmas :)
