Some little things

So sorry for the lack of posting, but things have been crazy busy around here lately.  Good things, bad things, work things, and life things have been taking more of my attention than usual. I have been thrown a couple of curveballs lately and have been trying to adjust to those and haven’t had much time to write. I miss writing  and it makes me feel better when I do… it’s just that I am not quite sure everyone needs to know exactly what’s on my plate right now if that makes sense? Ehhhh that was probably pretty vague but I promise it’s nothing I can’t handle :) Things are looking up and Good things are coming-that’s all you need to know!

Here are 5 good things from today :

Having Daddy home at bedtime is always a big plus :) Nobody can settle him down like this!

 

Thank you, God for good health insurance!  I was totally expecting this to be out of pocket! This really reminded me of why I am so lucky to work for a good company. Just when I get sad about being a working mom, I get some perspective in the mail.  I needed this. bad.

 

Good (color coded) easy-read  books. (except for “The girl with the dragon tattoo!”)… shoot me! Sometimes a beach read is good for the soul, ya know?

 

New shoes for the babe… They’ll never be this clean again!

Somebody being coy on his time-out stool. All I want to do is squeeze his hammy legs!!!

Tonight I will be spending the night on the Island of Sodor… does anyone else just really want to strangle Thomas the train and Sir Topham hat?? I need some old-school Sesame Street in my life!
