ok finally…

Ok… so this has been about 4 moths in the making and now that it’s official, I can finally scream…

“CHAD HAS A JOB!!!!!!!”

Today was the day we have been waiting for since the day he left the Marine Corps and we couldn’t be happier. He will be working as a Police officer at Coastal Carolina University starting next Monday! He interviewed back in February and out of the 25+ guys they met with, he was one of only 3 that were hired :) He signed off on all of the paperwork this morning so everything is official! He will go to Police Academy in April for 9 weeks of training and then he’ll be a brand new South Carolina Law Enforcement officer!!! I am so proud of him because this was the first job he has ever had that he had to interview and prepare for and he totally nailed it. The officers he will be working with at the school have been very nice and welcoming to him and he is so excited. Things are really looking up for us especially now that he has this job.  My job has stayed pretty busy and with all of the tourists in town, I know the next few weeks will be really good for me.  Hopefully once he’s all settled in with the police department we’ll finally get to start house hunting. So exciting! It would be great to purchase a home by this time next year… after all, that’s what we’ve spent the last 3 years saving for! Anyways, Just had to share the exciting news!!!
