8 months old today

Dear Cole,

Time has flown since I last wrote you  note and you are now 8 months old. EVERY single day of the last month, you learned something new. Your daddy and I probably said “He’s never done that before”  at least 50 times this month. You started with a cute little “scoot” around the house last month and it has evolved into a bear crawl that is the funniest thing we’ve ever seen! You still refuse to say “mama” so I am going to keep working with you on that! “dada” and “baba” (bottle) are the only words in your vocabulary that we can make out but that doesn’t mean you aren’t saying much more than that. We’re trying to learn your language so be patient with us :) Your hair is RED even though in pictures you look pretty bald still. You are busting out of your 12 month clothes and it’s hard to believe that toddler sizes are right around the corner for you! You LOVE to dance to Miley Cyrus, Michael Buble, and Kris Allen when we play music in your room. You stand in your crib with a HUGE smile on your face and rock back and forth, bobbing your head with the music. You love to read with us (especially Curious George)  and you have a recent fascination with Charlie. He seems to respect you more than mommy or daddy which is so funny to us! You are growing into the most beautiful little boy we have ever seen and I have a feeling the next time I write to you, you will be VERRRRYYY close to WALKING! Mommy isn’t ready for that so STOP GROWING UP SO FAST! We love you, little boy!
