Visitors!!!

When we left California, we were sad in a lot of ways. We loved living out there because it was beautiful, we loved our first little house, and we made lots of memories during the time we were there. We would move back tomorrow if we could because we loved it so much! We met some amazing people out there but there was one couple in particular who we got really close to. When Chad left for Iraq, I was 13-14 weeks pregnant and SO lonely. All I could think about was how I wished I had a friend in a similar situation who would understand. This wish came true when Erin and I found each other through a mutual friend on Myspace. Sounds totally creepy, right? I know it sounds nuts but thank God for social media or we wouldn’t have these awesome people in our lives. Erin’s husband, Scott, was deployed with the same unit as Chad and she was due with their daughter one month after me!!!!! We were immediately friends and pretty much inseparable  during the rest of the time I lived there. If it weren’t for Erin, I would have probably lost my mind during the 7 months Chad was gone and I couldn’t be more thankful for her! Chad and Scott have a serious BROMANCE and I know we will be lifelong friends with these guys! I jokingly invited Erin and Scott to Cole’s birthday party  but lucky for me about an hour later I got a phone call saying that Erin and Brynn will be flying in for the party! Scott has to work, unfortunately, but I am SO excited to see my best friend and reunite the babies!!! Chad is depressed that Scott can’t make it but *hopefully* these guys will be moving to the east coast this fall and will only be a few hours away. I just had to make a post about this because I am SOOOOOOOO excited!!!!!
