2 posts in one day!

Chad left today to go to Florida for a few days… he and his dad and some of their friends from St. Pete are going to the races in Daytona this weekend. Chad hasn’t been on a “vacation” since he joined the Marine Corps over 4 years ago so I am glad he’s getting to go. Even though I am working 4 days while he was gone I was able to find some babysitters for Cole- Thanks Becky and Jaclyn- You are lifesavers! Cole has had a cough for a few days now so I was reluctant to take him out in the crappy rainy weather we’ve been having. He and I stayed inside all day and relaxed. I was able to get a bunch of homework done, pay bills, and clean up around the house. I love spending time with my little guy but days like today are really special because it’s just the two of us. I am sort of sad that Chad wasn’t here this afternoon because he missed this : Yes, that’s our little guy standing in his crib all by himself! He has been flirting with the idea of standing in his crib for a few days now and I guess he decided today was the day! I am making a point from now on to post every time he does something major because I plan to print this entire blog by Cole’s birthday. I am a bad mom and never made him a baby book… I know, I know- shame, shame on me! But I think this is better in a lot of ways. The amount of time I spend on the computer is embarrassing but this really is the best way for me to document everything he does. Hopefully Chad will see this picture while he’s in Florida---If you see this, we love you, Honey!!!!
