I am sorry at the lack of posts lately.. things have been crazy around our house the last few weeks. Here is what’s going on…

Yep, the time has come for us to move out. We sold our couches and all of the temp. furniture we bought when we moved here and are ready to go! For those of you who don’t know… Chad is done with the Marine Corps on Dec. 8th and we are moving to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Saying it’s bittersweet is an understatement. We are both really excited and really sad at the same time. We don’t want this life for our son and with the way things are going in the world, Chad would be deploying  again way too soon for our liking. I can’t think of a more heartbreaking thing than Chad having to say goodbye to his son. Missing his birth was enough for us. No thanks, but we’re done!  Chad is interviewing for a police position at Coastal Carolina University once we arrive and hopefully we’ll have some good news on the job front by the time we go home for Christmas!

Now, for what you really want to hear about… COLE!

He turned 4 months old on the 13th… and is growing like a weed! 

 

See? I told ya he was huge? He tried rice cereal for fun on his 4 month birthday but he is definitely still a “boob guy”. He is doing so many new things now, it is so much fun to watch. He giggles and grabs his toys and spoon and is even starting to hold his own bottle. He is too much fun! We are so in love with him. We are going to L.A. for Thanksgiving next week to see my Aunt, Uncle, and cousins and can’t wait for some good food! Tonight we’re going to Erin and Scotts to hang out and shoot our Christmas card pictures… They are a secret and you wont get to see until you open your envelope… not even you, mom! ha-ha! It will be worth the wait… trust me. OK, I have to run…. I promise never to go this long without updating again! I got a few emails asking  if we were ok- thanks for thinking of us!!!
