Friday, Chad's post-deployment leave began and we have been having such a nice time being together as a family. Friday we bummed around all day except for our walk that we go on every evening. Saturday is ALWAYS Walmart day but now that it's fall... it is COLLEGE FOOTBALL DAY! I like football, but not nearly as much as Chad. UGA lost and I am pretty sure it ruined his whole day afterwards. He just gets so into it! While he watched the game, I escaped for a little while and went shopping- I had a total panic attack sitting in traffic when I reached into the carseat behind me and there was no baby!!! Obviously he was home safe with Chad but I totally freaked for a second because I am usually glued to Cole all day. I have only left him a handful of times since he's been born so you better believe I was missing him by the time I got home... Here are my sweet boys watching the game. Cole would have been wearing his UGA jersey, but he had either spit up or pooped in it by game time. Ugh, and I apologize for the living room being a mess... I HATE taking pics at home, too because of those heinous red couches- they will be the first thing to go when we buy a house next summer!
Sunday, we went up to the San Clemente Farmer's Market and pier. For those of you who dont know, Orange County is GORGEOUS and being up there made me realize how much I love California and how we're going to miss it. We Hung out by the beach and 'people watched' for a long time and just talked about how we wish we could stay in CA forever. I seriously think we could live here for the rest of our lives. Anyways, the farmer's market is every sunday and they set up lots of little tents where you can taste and buy the world's most awesome fruit, bread, homemade salsas and jellies. SO delicious. We walked around there for a long time... Some random stranger saw Chad struggling with the camera trying to get a rare picture of Cole and I and told him he had to jump in there with his wife and son... result- a rare picture of the 3 of us.
Monday, we cleaned a little and then had a picnic dinner on the beach with our friends, Erin and Scott Dietrich. They brought little 3 week old Brynn and it was both our babies' first time at the beach. We've wanted to go for a while but it's so hot this time of year, plus we have to wait till almost sunset so the babies don't fry in the sun. We took turns taking each other's family pictures since it's hard to do that when it's just the 3 of you at home. There were so many cute ones, that I made a slideshow! Enjoy! Chad has the next 3 weeks off.... YAY!!! So there will be many cute pictures to come, I'm sure. Oh and for those of you who thought I dyed my hair brown, I swear I did....It was dark brown for about 3 days and then washed out- I am just meant to be a blonde!!!

I just loved those pictures from the beach. And you are sooo tiny!! I wish my stomach was already that flat! You may have a couple weeks on me, but I dont see my stomach being that much smaller by then!! I did the same before- died my hair brown for a few months. Kept having to do it cause the blonde underneath- but overall- Im sticking to blonde. Brunettes are always so pretty... us blondes will just have to be... hot haha. XOXO
